The roots of Derby based company, Parry Catering Equipment, date back to 1943 when Jack Parry and Henry Martin formed a partnership selling windings used in telephone relays. As the business grew the firm expanded into discharge lamp control gear, before purchasing the catering equipment division in 1972 from Ridgeway Catering.
Proud to be a UK catering equipment manufacturer, their product range includes fryers, griddles, grills, oven ranges, salamanders, chargrills, contact grills, and bain maries - to name but a few! From the Modular range, designed with economy and space in mind, to the 700 series, heavy duty range of suited products, designed for the busy professional kitchen, Parry aim to provide high quality goods for the expanding catering market.
Together with these ranges of kitchen equipment, Parry have had a long tradition of producing steel fabricated items including tables, canopies and sinks which form part of their standard stock, and also offer a bespoke service. “Whatever your requirements, if it’s made of steel – we can make it”, says Terry Cooper, Parry Group Chief Executive.
The firm are also exporters, with Parry equipment in over 45 countries worldwide. All Parry’s products are manufactured to ISO 9002 and British Standards quality marks, ensuring that their customers are only purchasing top of the range equipment.
Parry Group Ltd Managing Director, Gary Rose, believes that their adaptability is a big reason why the company has gained such a high reputation, “We are not rigid in what we sell. We do not say ‘this is the product and there will be no variance on it.’ We can tailor our own equipment to a customers needs.”
